Terms and Conditions
A deposit of £100 per week must be paid on booking and full payment of the rent is due four weeks prior to day of arrival. Full payment is required if booking is made within four weeks of date of arrival. Booking and deposit will be lost if full payment is not made on time. The guest will be charged any bank fees, which may occur from cheques, transfers, etc.
No reservation will be guaranteed without a deposit.
A good-housekeeping bond of £100 must be paid on booking. The bond will be returned 1 week after departure, providing no damage or loss of items has occurred in the cottage
If you decide to cancel your booking, the management must be notified immediately by telephone and confirm cancellation in writing; 50% of the deposit will be refunded if the booking can be resold.
The management operates a NON SMOKING policy in the cottage.
The cottage will be ready for occupation at 3.00pm on the rental start date unless prior arrangements have been made. The cottage must be vacated by 12.00 Midday on the final day of the rental and left in a clean condition.
The management do not accept any liability for loss or damage to personal effects, baggage, vehicle or any other item belonging to the guest or their party.
The total number in the party should not exceed the maximum number stated.
The management should be allowed access to the cottage at any reasonable time during the holiday occupancy.
Guests should keep the cottage and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in the cottage in the same state of repair as at the commencement of the holiday, and should leave the cottage in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found.
Guests are expected to supervise their children and pets, so as they do not damage the inside or the outside of the cottage, the garden or any property.
Pets are allowed by prior arrangement - £20 per stay. No pets are allowed in bedrooms or on furniture. If pet hairs etc are found after your departure your good-housekeeping bond will be forfeited. You are expected to clean up after your pet outside.
Heating and fuel costs are covered in the rental and we want you to be comfortable. However if the meter shows an excess use through carelessness (leaving heating on when cottage is unoccupied) the housekeeping bond may be forfeited.
The management of Alice's Cottage reserves the right to terminate the rental without notice and without refund for breach of this contract.
